First, let me say that I absolutely LOVE the playing performance of this racquet! For the 20+ years I've been playing the game, I've pretty much stuck to Ektelon racquets...until the day I mind-farted and forgot my bag of 3 top-of-the-line racquets at home! Rather than borrow a low-quality racquet, I stopped by Sports Authority and picked up a Bedlam Stun 150 - since they didn't have any good Ektelon racquets in stock.

Right from the beginning, I knew I was in love and I pretty much ignored ALL my Ektelon racquets. I was dominating like I never have before until a point about 2 months later when I whacked the wall while trying to return a shot. It was a solid whack but nothing that I've not done many times over the years. I did what I usually do - I held up the racquet to make sure it was still straight and was shocked to see that it was broken on opposite sides of the head...and folded over by about 15-20 degrees.

Of course, Sports Authority could do nothing for me, so I wrote e-force. They have a 12 month warranty on racquets - IF you keep the receipt. Since I did, I spent another $23 - on top of the $120 for the racquet - to ship it to them and I'm not waiting for my replacement.

But wait...it gets better!

Since I love the playing performance of the racquet and couldn't stand to be without it while waiting for the replacement, I went back to SA and bought a SECOND Stun 150! 3 weeks later I GRAZED the wall - not even a whack - and was shocked again to see the racquet warped - it had broken on one side in almost the same place as the first time!!!

This time, I went back to SA and made a big deal about it being a manufacturers defect - and since it was within 30 days AND the racquet looked almost brand new, they agreed to take it back. I got a Stun 170 instead. I'm hoping the 170 is more durable.

No question about it - the Stun 150 is an awesome racquet in terms of playing performance but unless you're willing to treat it as a disposable racquet, it's simply not durable enough.
