Bamboo Drop Through Complete Longboard Skateboard Review

ok so i bought this longboard because that its dark bamboo, and also because of the price. lol but anyway the board once u get it right out of the box is INCREDIBLY stiff the tucks are super stiff. you cant turn at all once u get them. But a tip is to tighten them a heck load leave it a bit then loosen them a lot. Also the bearings are ..ok i think they might be a 5 but they are ok when you first get it they are definitively not five when you first get it. Also the board is NOT pure bamboo its layered with maple but i think it says that in the description. So the board is not even close to being a flexible as my friends Sector 9 board. And the board is heavy pretty heavy compared to other boards. But don't get me wrong its a nice board. But if your planning to buy this and expect it to be perfect on the first ride. No it needs to be broken in.

I buy a lot of Arc'teryx and have been nonplussed about variation in pant sizing. However, these shorts were consistent with how most 32" pants fit. The built-in belt is convenient and the pockets (both zippered and open) sit flush. The shorts are lightweight and easy to move in. The material makes a bit of a 'swoosh' noise as you move, much like athletic warmup pants, but I haven't had any comments about it! I like these enough that I would consider buying another pair, and also look for the long pant version.

Cygolite Mitycross 380 Osp Dual High Beam Led System with Palm-Sized Li-Ion Battery with Smart Rapid Charger Review

I've used this light for 4 separate night rides. Conditions varied from city boulevard street light conditions to pitch black lake bike path in large trees. This light gives an excellent spread of light with ample beam "punch" to extend the light out far enough to see the road hazards. During my city rides, I felt very comfortable riding in light traffic and still was able to see hazards in the dim and variable conditions of suburban roadways.
I love the profile of the headlight as it does not protrude up from the handlebar level. The clamp is very solid and the headlight does not deflect from pushing on the control switch. I rode past some people one night and I heard them comment, "wow, that light is bright!". The little lithium battery pack fits snugly under the stem on my road bike and is barely noticeable. Old school boarder - hadn't ridden since - gad - rather not say. My wife bought me this board for christmas last year - ridden it half a dozen times - not easy round these parts, not to mention, when your turning half a century old, things like work tend to get in the way of spare time. Heck, when I was in highschool - I'd either walk to school or board to school - can't do that now. The quality of the deck is fantastic, the trucks are great, bearings are first rate & the wheels are plenty fast enough for this 'ol school-er. I did seriously think about building my own board, wanted to start with a nice Sim's board or a Santa Cruz, but, after shopping & pricing - this Express board just couldn't be beat. I "might" upgrade to a set of Kript wheel's & crank up the bearings to a set of 9's - but - right now - in the here & now - this board is just to sweet to trick right now.

Just enjoying feeling that glide - sigh - ya might not be able to go home all the time - but - at least this board takes me back gliding home after school on a nice, crisp, fall afternoon :-)
