The soprano member of the Lag 77 Series, the U77S feature the distinctive Tramontane headstock with a black logo. The arched-back design offers a Honey French Satin finish. The U77S is constructed using a Mahogany top with Mahogany back & sides, and stylish black and ivory-colored binding. The sound hole is adorned with an inspired Lag Ukulele rosette. The diecast machine heads feature oval buttons and a modern black satin finish, and are strung with Aquila strings. The easy-to-play rosewood fingerboard is fitted with nickel frets. I ordered this uke on-line without ever touching or seeing one in real life only based on my previous experience with Lag guitars. They make spectacular guitars for half the price of better known brands. And this ukulele held up to my expectations with little exceptions - for some reason there were globs/crust of varnish on the inside of the sound hole (I could scrape most of it with my fingernails). Also the saddle/tailpiece/bridge looks a little rough and unfinished. Otherwise the finish and construction are impeccable. By the way, in real life the wood is MUCH darker - just a shade lighter than the fingerboard. Beautiful binding and very smooth neck. The body is thinner than most ukes - it tapers toward the place where the neck is attached to the body where it is only 1.5" (40mm) thick and the thickness at the bottom is about 2.5" (60mm). Also both top and bottom are arched, bottom more so. The neck width (distance between strings) is also very thin - only 1-3/8" (33mm) at the nut - noticeably smaller than Kala and Lanikai soprano ukes which I tried in person. Geared tuners make the head stock the heaviest part of the instrument. Now these things - neck width and the arched bottom make this uke behave like what it is - a "jumping flea" - I've yet to master a perfect position where *I* am in control of the instrument. I probably wouldn't recommend it to a beginner (which is what I am) for that reason. But if you are looking for a unique, stylish, well crafted instrument there wouldn't be ANYTHING comparable on the market in the same price range. I have to applaud Lag for not simply making another standard uke with just a different logo on the headstock. The closest thing I can compare it to is KALA solid acacia uke which goes for around $400 or more. And since I'm not very experienced I'm not going to make comments about the sound. I'm happy with it! I'm not sure if it's the arched, tapered, body or the size/position of the sound hole (which looks larger than on other soprano ukes), or combination of all but I can tell that it is designed to project the sound. Because every time I change the angle of the body slightly while the strings are still ringing you can hear this "wah" effect...

Answer ProTaper AM Handlebar Carbon 1" Rise 720mm 31.8mm Black/White Review

The only negative to these bars...I have a Cannondale. My grips fit perfectly fine over the bar ends, however, the end cap that rests inside the ends of the bars do not fit in the Answer handle bars. The grip caps are too large to slide into the handlebar because the diameter of the inside of the Answer handlebars is smaller than that of the C4 bars that came on the bike. But even with 10 minutes of 'modifying" the grip caps to fit I still give them 5 stars.
