this is a good bike computer with speed, cadence, and heart rate monitor. the speed and distance is very accurate.the one thing i don't like about this watch is that it doesn't have a repeating countdown function. i do 100 mile bike rides and ironmans and I like to have an alarm that goes off every 15 min or so to remind me to take in calories/electrolytes, and this watch unfortionately doesnt have that function. it does have a count down timer but it doesn't repeat itself and it also has a interval countdown, but the problem with this is that as soon as this countdown is done, it goes straight into an increasing recovery time. the only way for me to make the 15 min repeat itself is to immediately push the lap time at the end of the interval time to make the 15 min start back down. the problem with that is that when I am running, i like to push the lap button every mile so I know how long I am running a mile, and it gets messed up when I am changing the mile lap times and the fueling time.
I do not recommend it for triathletes or anyone who also wants an alarm to remind them to take in calories while they are exercising.
because it doesn't offer the repeating countdown timer, I now have an old ironman timex watch with a repeating interval timer attached to my handle bars and it repeats every 15 min on the bike, but when i get to the run, i have to pay close attention to the time.
