I have a Remington 700 .308 with 26 inch bull barrel. I recently put a MDT TAC 21 stock on with a MAGPUL Sniper Gen II butt stock. Total height (with scope) is 11 inches and total width is 47 inches. I tried buying a hard case from Bass Pro, only to find out when I got it home the dimensions listed on the tag were not for the case I purchased.

Searching on Amazon I found this soft case, and after handling my Remington for a little while I realized the thing was heavy, I mean really heavy. So I needed a case that not only would fit around the gun but also be easy to carry. I was most impressed that this soft case comes with the ability to wear it like a back pack! This would move the weight of the gun from my arms to my back and legs.

I only received it last night, but so far what I have seen in its construction and storage pockets I am impressed. I'll have to see how it wears over time though.
