AIM 2.5-10X40 Illuminated Tactical Quick Release Mil-Dot Scope Review

I was a little apprehensive at first becuase I couldn't find many reviews on this product. However, upon receiving it was in mint condition and I liked how it looked. There is a way to adjust the tightness of the quick release lever once mounted to ensure a tight fit and no wobble when firing. The quick release lever is great because my gun doesn't fit in its case with the scope on, so the ability to quickly mount and unmount the scope is great. It is sighted in pretty well for 100 yards for a 55 grain .223 bullet. I did re-sight it in for 50 yards just for target shooting and only took a few mags just to get it on point pretty well. I was not using a gun vice or the resting sand bags so sighting in to perfect zero was a little difficult, but thats more or less my fault. But all in all I love the scope and its performance. Once sighted in, it didn't vary at all and the dual illumination is great for lower light situations and shooting. Oh, there is a slight "halo" effect at max magnificaiton/zoom, but its not too big of a deal. For shooting at the range this is a great item at a great price.
