1) Watch the price... it has gone up and down in price every few days. This is an exceptional value. I got mine for under $60.
2) This is a BIG watch (a Russian Diver)so be prepared to be noticed. However, it does not look silly. It does not look like a woman's fashon watch. It has enough heft to be a 'real man' watch. It weighs about 5.5 oz or 156 grams. It has over a 50mm case.
3) The stem is at the 9 o'clock position ...this is a good thing because it prevents the stem from digging into you wrist. Remember, this is a BIG watch. If it were in the normal position the stem would be in the way. The stem at the 9 0'clock makes a watch of this size wearable.
4) Although BIG, it is not excessively heavy. It does not feel out of balanced. It is hefty enough to be noticed but not uncomfortable.
5) It is WELL MADE. It has a SWISS and not Japaneese movement. I don't know if that is better, but it is the more expensive movement. This is a stainless watch. The band is substantial but this is necessary to support a watch of this size.
6) The date window is a little small and seems out of proporton to the rest of the watch. You really don't notice the date window most of the time. The numbers are large to fit the size of the watch. Numbers stand out in low light.
7) A friend of mine has a more complicated Invicta Russian Diver (the Off Shore) but this one seems cleaner and more of a work watch than a fancy fashion watch. It is not as pretty, but is bult like a tank. This is not a complicated watch (only time/ date), just a work horse.
8) A friend said it looks like a true Invicta diver watch but it was styled 'clean' enough to be what a Movado would make if thay were making a navy divers watch. It has style and strength in a very simple way. I like it.
9) The watch is BIG... both in size and value.
