Bought this to be primarily a rain jacket for camping and hiking, but what I got was WAY better. I wear this daily in the cold of the Minnesota winters, along with a down vest. It's not insulated worth a darn, but cuts the wind down to practically nothing. I wear this as my outter shell when snowboarding too so their is plenty of wiggle room. Lastly it does repell water with the best of. I'm quite positive this coat could stop a bullet given the opportunity (wouldn't recomend it though). BUY BUY BUY and be happy
