I ordered this jacket to add an outer layer to my fall/winter cycling clothing. I didn't want something that was going to be too large and bulky but I also didn't want something that was so light it wouldn't keep me warm either. This has been perfectly light weight while still maintaining a great deal of warmth and with the added versatility of the removable sleeves, this has easily been one of my favorite cycling purchases in the last year. It fits snugly as a cycling jacket should to prevent wind flapping. It has some degree of water repellence and does a great job of keeping the cold wind out while still breathing fairly well. Unzipping the armpits of the sleeve allow it to really breathe, and if it gets too warm you just just remove the sleeves and it works well as a nice vest. its a great cycling jacket and with this much versatility it is more than worth the price. When I first started cycling, I was put off by high priced items, but once I started using better products, I realized why they fetch that price, because the quality, fit and performance far exceeds the cheaper stuff.
