IMPORTANT: First time use: Charge battery for 24 hours, then 6-12 hours after that. When the pump is ready for extended storage, charge it fully to avoid any battery damage from a completely depleted charge. The battery is made of Nickel Cadmium and have a life of approximately 800 cycles or 3-5 years if used properly. Extra pumps are available if needed.

This twin sized airbed is absolutely perfect for taking with you while traveling, which is why I selected it. Someone in our family is always headed out on a fishing or hunting trip, and this air mattress is perfect for those trips. The mattress is designed to roll up and store in it's own carrying case which doubles as a base lining for the underside of the mattress while it's inflated. The carrying case is actually attached to the mattress, so there's no need to worry about losing it. It's always connected. The case has a thick woven nylon adjustable shoulder strap, so when stored the air mattress can be carried like a tote bag.

The pump to inflate the mattress can be fully removed from the mattress so you can take it to a wall plug-in and charge it with the included AC adapter. This means you can charge the pump without having the mattress anywhere near it. After being charged, you can then inflate and deflate the mattress without any need for plugging anything in, which makes this mattress perfect for camping, cabins or anywhere else you might go where you don't have access to electricity.

The material the mattress is made of is thick and designed for seeing lots of use. It's a tan color and the mattress fits a full sized adult very well, with no problem holding their weight. I was really happy to find that rolling the mattress back up and storing it was actually very easy. I find it more difficult trying to roll up my kids sleeping bags so they will fit into their carrying bags than I do folding up this mattress. It really is super simple.
