I purchased this on a purely cost basis and am completely regretting that decision to be a tight ass. This product is too loud to use in an apartment or similar situation unless you don't mind being the jerk neighbor that disrupts everyone else's peace. This is not to mention that the resistance is jerky at best.
One positive I can mention is that it was relatively simple to put together. I am not a bike nut or an especially handy person and it was a cinch for me.
If noise is not an issue and you are going to use head phones or crank up the music while riding, you might be ok....
