I bought this soft shell because it had a hood and looked well made. I'm very happy with it! For some reason its hard to find soft shell jackets with hoods, so I wanted to share that this is a great jacket. I wore it today on a new England beach with strong cold winds ( yes its already cold here) and it stood up great. I wish it had inside pockets too but the pocket made on the arm is good and works well for items you need to reach fast. I got the mens small size and it fit perfectly. I am a woman but almost 5'10 in height and weigh 145 lbs if that helps.
