The chair is great. High enough off the ground to easily get in and out. The arm rests are a warm, smooth wood. (not a cheap plastic) The chair does not tip back as far as I would like but far enough that I stay awake during movies. My only serious problem was with the first chair. A bolt head popped off and made the chair unusable. (over tightening bolt during construction could cause problem or just a bad bolt.)
