I bought these lights because they were very pleasing to the eye and practical for my situation. However, I found them to be deficient in one critical area, the light sensor is located in a bad spot. The lights are not switched and on 24/7. The light sensor is on the bottom of the base of the light and behind a light shield on the globe causing it to behave like it's dark all the time. Very little light gets through to the sensor and I'm planning on putting a small mirror under the sensor. If it works I'll write again, they are very nice lights.
