Balance Beam - BB8-P - Padded Suede 8 Foot Balance Beam (Pink) Review

I initially order as a Christmas gift, an 8' foot pink beam for our 7-year old daughter to start practicing on at home. Talking with my wife after placing the order, I learned that she really wanted our daughter to have a tan one since that is the color in the gym and she wanted the same in the house. Even though I thought I was fulfilling the need, I should have involved my wife in the decision making process prior to ordering (Note to self/husbands). Even though I just ordered the beam I prayed there might be a chance of redeeming myself.

Quickly calling up Gymnast Hut, I was able to speak with Susan. She quickly and efficiently rectifed what would have been a disappointment in our household. Even though Susan had just processed our order prior to the call, she notified her floor personnel to swap out the color (since they build the bars to ordered criteria) before it was too late and shipped. Her husband also took the time to discuss stablizer bars with me and said he would ensure that my wife and daughter would be happy with the solution they are providing us.

Although we haven't gotten the beam yet (will be here in approximately 5 days) I can hardly wait as I am sure their product will mirror the excellent customer service they exhibit. I would highly recommend Gymnast Hut to the other gymnasts at her complex and will be ordering the riser legs to upgrade this bar once our daughter is ready for them.
