I actually really like the style of these shoes. They seem very glittery in the box, but that fades to a nice sparkle on the feet. Very danceable shoes, and I feel like the price was excellent on Amazon--much less than I would have paid in a retail store locally, with Amazon's coupon to boot AND somehow these got here overnight with my normal prime subscription. Go Amazon! I danced up a storm in these tonight, no blisters, no rubbing, and felt stable right out of the box. However, the one piece strap ticks me off a little. Seriously, I have size ten feet, that means my bones are big, but that does NOT mean that I am 300 lbs. For some reason manufacturers love to make larger shoes with huge ankles,and this is another example of that. I probably have two extra inches in this wraparound strap when I put it on the smallest pre-drilled hole, and I was counting on that thing to keep these on my feet. Gonna have to punch my own and cut off the end of the strap because as loose as they are, the speed buckle fell open twice while dancing in them tonight. So while these could easily have been five star shoes, I'm downgrading them for being so oversized in the strap that it's not only non-functional for me, but outright dangerous without alteration. For the great price, I'll fix it, and use these for social dancing and practice.
